Hi, I'm Mel.
I help brands uncover what they want to say and shape it into something people want to hear. Strategy, voice, story, message, I turn the chaos into clarity. And I genuinely love doing it.
I've worked across tech, education, nonprofits, and creative agencies. I adapt quickly, ask questions, and end up being the person people DM with "Can you help me make this sound better?"
Where I come from and why it matters
I was born in L.A. but grew up in Brooklyn, raised by Argentine parents who taught me about culture, identity, education, and the importance of telling your own story.

I came of age in NYC in the ’90s and early 2000s: moshing at underground punk shows, playing handball in the parks, and grabbing the best slice on my walk home. I graduated from Boston University in 2009 during the recession, which made me scrappy, resourceful, grateful, and genuinely optimistic.

Where I’m from shapes how I write: grounded, human, curious, and full of heart.

My creative personality in a nutshell
I'm the friend who:
-
Knows the precise word you're looking for
-
Rewrites your texts so they sound like you, but better
-
Falls down Reddit rabbit holes "for research”
-
Buys a new notebook for every idea
-
Gets excited by great packaging (I don’t need it… but I want it)

I'm always excited to learn about new projects. Let's work together!
